Sporting Stories!

This half term, pupils have been excelling at their sporting endeavours! From football to handball, rugby to netball, they have demonstrated commitment, amazing teamwork, and lots of effort.

Football:

Well done to our Year 5 and 6 pupils who recently took part in a World Cup style football tournament at Staindrop Academy. The group impressed everyone with their teamwork and dedication, well done to all involved!

Tag Rugby:

Some of our Year 6 children enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of sport at their recent tag rugby festival. Demonstrating excellent team work and determination, the children threw themselves into every match. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and they were over the moon walking away with a trophy!

Netball:

Our students took part in a netball competition on Friday. They all worked together as a team and throughly enjoyed their morning! Well done, everyone!

Handball:

Our Year 5 students had a fantastic morning at their handball festival recently, where they worked together and impressed us with some of their shots!

Rugby:

Year 5 and 6 had a brilliant time learning to play rugby! Coached by Paul from RAC Rugby Coaching Academy, they enjoyed their first session and are excited to continue learning more about rugby over the coming months. Great job everyone!
